League of Legends: Dominion mode launches

League of Legends has expanded its domain with the launch of the League of Legends: Dominion. A new mode for the multiplayer action strategy game, Dominion adds a capture-and-hold game type to Riot Games' free-to-play PC title in North America and Europe.

The addition of the Dominion mode also means a new map, Crystal Scar, tailored to the mode's needs and featuring original art. According to Riot Games, Dominion matches are also designed to resolve quicker than the standard League of Legends bhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifattles waged on the Summoner's Rift map. Matches on Crystal Scar are expected to resolve in about 20 minutes, according to the developer. Additionally, players will be able to bring their characters, abilities, and skins over from the standard League of Legends to try out in the dominion mode.
