Nokia has launched Nokia 500, its latest Symbian Anna OS based smartphone which comes at a truly affordable price range. It has a 1 GHz processor which allows you to do multitasking without any hassles.
Nokia 500 has a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display with screen resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. It also features a 5 mega pixel rear camera which will be ideal for snapping high quality snapshots on weekends and holidays, it also delivers a good quality video capture.
It comes with a 2 GB internal storage memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot. Like many other recent smartphones, it offers pentaband radio coverage, so no matter where you are it won’t let you go out of touch with your friends and family members. Nokia 500 is a 3G enabled device which offers HSDPA with a whopping speed of 14.4 Mbps.
It will be available in Black and White color varieties and there are three different back covers available with this phone. Nokia said that more color variants for this phone, including purple, azure blue, pink, coral red, orange and dark silver shades will be available later. Having seen the hot pink versions of the Nokia N8 andNokia N9, we’re convinced that color will win a lot of fans. Symbian Anna will enable you to make the use of the Nokia Ovi store to download the apps that you may require to enjoy the great features that the phone has to offer. Also something to note here is that Symbian Anna is the latest version OS launched by Nokia and is found on very few phones till now, Nokia had made a statement earlier saying that they were going to use the new OS on their upcoming phones.
Battery life is really impressive as Nokia 500 is capable of providing 7 hours of talk time and standby time of good 500 hours despite of possessing 1110 mAh battery.

Nokia 500 is a new generation low-end touchscreen mobile with 1GHz processor. I had used this mobile phone, this phone really fill all of the expectations in affordable prices.
